Me
I am currently finishing my studies of East Asian Politics in Bochum, Germany, where I will hopefully get my Masters Degree next year. I am also a research associate at the chair of East Asian Politics on a part-time basis and teach students in their 1st to 4th semesters. As I am greatly interested in stuff like Web 2.0, social networking and digital lifestyle with a focus on Mac products, I am currently doing an internship at Macnotes.de, an online editorial office that by and large deals with these things. I’ll hopefully get some additional credit points for that so I can slightly boost the completion of my studies.
Together with my wife, who runs a small company that assists expatriates in Germany (Expatriate Solutions), and two cats, I live in the city centre of Bochum. In addition to the above-mentioned interests I try to keep informed about world politics (which of course is too wide a field to catch every piece of media coverage). I like France (especially Brittany where we often spend our holidays), football, films and photography.
This Blog
…is actually designed as a kind of playground in terms of Web 2.0 communication and to practice my writing skills. Basically, I want to practice my english writing and to communicate my thoughts, hobbies, activities and observations to everyone who’s interested, even though I’m quite sure that the “bulk” of people who surf today’s web will probably not pop in here.
